Deaf or Hard of Hearing in Hastings
The group meets once a month and are run by the East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre. Different speakers attend each month to talk on a variety of subjects and equipment is demonstrated which can be of help to hard of hearing people. You will also learn useful tips on how to communicate with deaf or hard of hearing people so your friends and family might want to come along too.
The next meeting at Hastings will be on Friday 3rd July 2009, 10.30am - 12noon at Hastings Voluntary Action, 31a Priory Street.
The title for July’s talk is, “Pensions and Benefits Advice.” Are you up-to-date with the latest information about increases in the state pension, pension credit and other benefits that you may be entitled to? If not, come along and find out. Talk presented by Carolyne Ball, Pensions and benefits advisor.
