The Community Fruit and Veg Project was started in response to the 5-a-day programme when it started in Hastings and Rother PCT. It aims to increase the availability of fruit and vegetables in Hastings and Rother, in an effort to ensure that the produce is sourced from local producers wherever possible and sold at reasonable rates. The Project has stalls manned by volunteers in community centres and also delivers bags, local boxes and bulk orders.
